Cookie policy
Last updated: 27 September 2026
In short
- No advertising cookies and no tracking across websites.
- Our audience measurement is our own tool, hosted by us: no other company receives the data, no IP address is stored.
- Everything optional stays off until you say yes, and saying no is as easy as saying yes.
- No fonts, scripts or images loaded from other companies.
What is stored
| Name | Type | Purpose | Kept for | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sga-consent | Local storage | Remembers your cookie choices | 6 months, then we ask again | Strictly necessary |
| sga-vid | Local storage | Random identifier used by our own audience measurement to count returning visits | 13 months | Audience measurement (with your consent) |
| sga-ref | Local storage | Code from the link in one of our emails, so we know your visit follows that email | 6 months | Email follow-up (with your consent) |
Local storage works like a cookie. The strictly necessary item (sga-consent) never leaves your browser; sga-vid and sga-ref are sent to our own server only if you accepted the matching category. Storing strictly necessary information does not require your consent (§ 25 (2) TDDDG, Art. 82 of the French data protection law).

Always on. Listed above.
Audience measurement
Off by default. If you accept it, our own tool counts the pages you view, where you came from, your device type and clicks on contact buttons, using the random identifier sga-vid. Data kept by us for 13 months.
Email follow-up
Off by default. If you accept it and arrive through a link in one of our emails, we store its code (sga-ref) and record that your visit follows that email. No advertising tool is in use at the moment; if we add one, this page will name it first.
Your choice
On your first visit, a small banner lets you accept, reject or choose, with the same effort. Your choice is kept for 6 months, then we ask again. You can change it at any time with the button above or the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing your consent is as easy as giving it.
External links
Some links take you to other websites (supervisory authorities, Unsplash). Those websites have their own cookie policies, which apply once you are there.
