Privacy policy

Data controller

What we collect, why, and on what legal basis

• Contact form, email or WhatsApp: your name, email address, company (optional), topic and message. We use them only to answer you and, if you ask, to prepare a quote (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). The form sends your message to our mailbox; nothing is stored on the website. We ask for nothing else.
• Visiting this website: our host keeps technical server logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser) to keep the site secure and working (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). They are deleted by the host after a short period.
• Audience measurement, only if you accept it: our own tool, hosted by us, records the pages you view, the website you came from, campaign tags in the link, your device type, browser family, language and screen width, clicks on contact buttons and form submissions, with a random identifier stored in your browser. No IP address is stored and no other company receives this data. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG). Kept for 13 months.
• Email follow-up, only if you accept it: our emails may contain a link with a short code derived from the address we wrote to. The code sits after a “#” in the link, so your browser does not send it to our server; our website only reads it if you accept “Email follow-up”, and then records that your visit follows that email, so that we can follow up on the right topic. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG). Kept for 6 months in your browser and 13 months on our side. Our emails contain no tracking pixel.
• Customers: the data needed to deliver the service, invoice it and meet our legal obligations (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (c) GDPR). Invoices are kept for the period required by tax law (up to 10 years in Germany).
• Accessibility diagnostic requests: when you confirm a request from one of our emails, we record the date and a pseudonymous code that links the request to the business we wrote to.
• Business prospecting: we use business contact details found on company websites, in public company registers and through the service Hunter.io to send relevant professional offers, based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We do not currently send prospecting emails to businesses in Germany. You can object at any time by replying “STOP” to any of our emails; we then stop immediately.

We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we make no automated decisions about you.

Who receives your data

• OVH SAS (France): website hosting and email, under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).
• WhatsApp (Meta): only if you choose to write to us on WhatsApp; WhatsApp’s own privacy policy then applies.
• Tax advisers and authorities, when the law requires it.

This website loads no fonts, scripts or images from other companies: everything, including our audience measurement, is served from our own host.

How long we keep it

Contact requests that do not lead to an order: at most 12 months after our last exchange. Customer and invoice data: as long as the law requires. Objection to prospecting: we keep your address on a “do not contact” list so that we never write to you again.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw any consent at any time (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Write to contact@sgautomation.fr; we answer within one month. You can also complain to a supervisory authority, such as the Unabhängiges Datenschutzzentrum Saarland (datenschutz.saarland.de) or the French CNIL (cnil.fr).

Security

The whole website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection. The contact form has no tracking and no captcha from another company.

Cookies

This website sets no advertising cookies. With your consent only, it uses our own audience measurement and recognises visits that follow our emails. Details and settings: cookie policy.

Intellectual property and image credits

The texts, graphics and interface of this website belong to Selim Gharbi / SGA unless stated otherwise. Reproduction, even partial, requires prior written permission.

The demo website shows a fictional business. Its images come from a video generated for SGA with an AI tool (Google Gemini). Its typefaces are Clash Display (Indian Type Foundry, ITF Free Font License) and IBM Plex (SIL Open Font License), served from our own host.
